Inhalt: Climate protection through urban green
Cities are the habitat of numerous people, animals and plants. Due to their complexity and high spatial concentration, they play a major role in climate protection worldwide. Climate protection in urban areas includes all measures that contribute to slowing down and combating climate change. A main component of this is the design of multifunctional, resilient green infrastructures. To ensure this, we address site-specific plant selection, carbon sequestration through green infrastructures, and multiple uses of green spaces.
