Inhalt: Agroecological soil optimization for integrated weed management
AGROSOIL
Enhancing soil microbial functionality to improve weed management - fostering the agroecological transition.
AGROSOIL aims to enhance agroecological weed management (AEWM) by promoting practical strategies that leverage the soil microbiome (SM) to improve weed control. Modifying the SM creates feedback loops in which improved microbial functionality reinforces weed suppression. The goal is to reduce reliance on synthetic herbicides and intensive tillage through a collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach implemented in Living Labs across Europe.
Agroecology Partnership
The AGROSOIL project is carried out within the framework of the European partnership “Accelerating farming systems transition – agroecology living labs and research infrastructures – AGROECOLOGY” (Grant No: 101132349).
The German part of the project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (Grant No: 031B1605A-B).
